Questions need to be answered regarding a death on the railroad embankment in Oshkosh.

City police said they received a call around 7 p.m. last night about a man who had been struck by a train on the tracks at East Parkway Avenue. Officials said the 23-year-old victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The train was stopped pending investigation. No one is saying why the young man was so close to the train.
