Pedestrian killed in traffic accident in Greenville County

GREENVILLE COUNTY, SC (WSPA) – A pedestrian died early Sunday morning after being struck by a vehicle in Greenville County.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol said the accident occurred on U.S. 25 near Gantt Street around 2 a.m.

According to police, an SUV traveling north struck a pedestrian who was trying to cross the street.

The identity of the victim has not yet been disclosed.
