Ground stop made at Houston’s Hobby and Bush airports as strong storms continue to move through the region

HOUSTON – A ground stop was issued at George Bush Intercontinental Airport and William P. Hobby Airport Wednesday afternoon due to tropical storms in the area.

The ground stop at George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) is scheduled from 3:45 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Ground stop at William P. Hobby Airport (HOU) is scheduled from 4:18 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

It is not known whether this Ground Stop will be lifted today. Check back for updates.
