Thread: Houston vs. White Sox

The Astros (33-39) are in town to face the nauseating White Sox. The team is on the verge of an incredibly embarrassing 55-game losing record. Although the Astros have been somewhat inconsistent and almost every starting pitcher, they now seem to be putting things in motion. It’s always the struggling teams that warm up against the Sox.

Tonight is also Pride Night, but you won’t know that unless you listen to the broadcast booth or check the website. No t-shirts this year, nothing that would stand out or scream alliance, not even the bare minimum. I guess that was put aside once Liam Hendriks left.

Jonathan Cannon gets the start tonight and Andrew Benintendi returns from his stint on the injured list.

Framber Valdez starts for the Astros. Last week, Jose Abreu was cut from the team after suffering serious setbacks over the past two seasons with the Astros.

You can watch the game on NBC Sports Chicago or listen on ESPN Chicago 1000 or Univision Deportes Radio 1200 AM Chicago. First pitch is at 7:10 p.m. CT.
