Three people arrested for drug offenses following search warrant in Troy

TROY, NY (NEWS10) – Detectives with the Troy Police Department’s Special Operations Unit have arrested three suspects charged with selling heroin laced with fentanyl. At approximately noon on June 6, Troy Police Department detectives executed a search warrant at a home on June 5.th Avenue in Lansingburgh following a lengthy investigation into suspected drug sales at the residence.

Three suspects were arrested without incident Thursday, and all three were transported to Central Station for processing and held for arraignment in Troy Municipal Court. Police identified the suspects as David L. Arrington, 58, of Troy, Robert M. Murray, 59, of Troy, and Laura J. White-Pullen, 54, of Troy.

During the search, evidence was seized that tested positive for both heroin and fentanyl.

The three are accused of the following:

  • Criminal possession of a controlled substance – intent to sell (3rd Degree)
  • Criminal possession of a narcotic drug (4th Degree)
  • Criminal possession of a controlled substance (7th Degree)

Investigators received several tips from concerned community members who assisted in the investigation. Investigators confirmed the necessary facts that supported the issuance of a court-ordered search warrant for the residence and the suspected drug dealers.

These arrests are an example of Troy Police Detectives’ continued pursuit of dangerous drug dealers in our community. They hope that these arrests will serve as a deterrent to those dealing narcotics in their neighborhoods and that the seizure of this fentanyl-laced heroin will protect individuals who would otherwise have come into contact with it from harm.
