Wells Fargo presents Juneteenth – A musical journey through the ages (Houston)

WHAT: Two evenings of performances highlighting the different eras of African-American music. Night One takes us back to the sounds of the 60s to the 90s. Night Two takes us from the 80s to the 2000s.

Juneteenth 2nd Annual Freedom March and Celebration (Houston)

WHAT: An exciting day of fitness and community at the Second Annual Walk/Run for Freedom! Regardless of your fitness level, everyone is welcome to participate in this annual event. Then, join the free concert with the Juneteenth Community Gospel Choir, followed by other performances and plenty of vendors. Registration is free.

FESTIVAL AND CELEBRATION OF THE 19TH CENTURY (GALVESTON)

WHAT: Enjoy the food, vendors and music while celebrating the birthplace of Juneteenth. Crowning ceremony for the Lil Mr. Juneteenth Prince and Lil Ms. Juneteenth Princess and 2024 Galveston County Father of the Year awards. The event is free.

WHAT: A blend of educational experience and festivities to commemorate and celebrate freedom, culture and community. This event will include an array of history, art, music and cuisine, designed to celebrate and honor the significance of Juneteenth. The event includes activities for children and adults, games, food and music.
