Double Trouble Involving a Buffalo Cop

BUFFALO, N.Y. — Buffalo Police Officer Kiam Gunn knows the law on both sides of the badge.

He also got into trouble while he was a police officer. During his six years on the force, Gunn was the target of six internal affairs complaints. Two were upheld, resulting in disciplinary action.

Gunn was suspended without pay for 45 days in May 2022, after witnesses reported seeing him smoking marijuana on the Delaware Park basketball courts and showing a gun when someone asked him not to smoke grass near children.
