Former Houston urban ranger arrested

A former Houston urban park ranger is scheduled to appear in probable cause court Wednesday after being arrested Tuesday, according to court documents.

According to court documents, Joey Ellis, 23, is charged with official oppression.

Houston police said that while at work, Ellis demanded money from a man and that in exchange for payment, he would not arrest the man.
