Lauren Salzenstein Gordon, 55, former Executive Director of the Northwest Suburban JCC and current School District 96 Board Member, beloved and devoted wife of the late David R. Gordon; loving and proud mother of Ethan and Gabriel; devoted daughter of Marvin and the late Gert Salzenstein; dear sister of Alan Salzenstein; daughter-in-law of the late Alice and the late Edward “Ted” Gordon; beloved sister-in-law of Harvey and Marlene Gordon, as well as Marc and Darlene Gordon, and the late Andrea Gordon; cherished aunt of Eric, Andy, Ashley; caring niece of the late Dr. George and Helga Kroll; dear cousin and friend of many. Service Thursday, 12:30 p.m. at Congregation Beth Judea, Route 83 and Hilltop Road, Long Grove. Interment in Shalom Memorial Park.
