Buffalo police investigate fatal shooting in Hertel

Buffalo, New York (WBEN) – Buffalo police are investigating a fatal shooting that happened overnight on Hertel Avenue.

Police said a 46-year-old Buffalo man was shot during a fight outside Del Denby’s Tavern in the 1500 block of Hertel.

Officers from the North West District responded to the scene shortly after 1 a.m. Tuesday. The victim was transported to ECMC and was later pronounced dead.
