The new location of PERC Coffee is now open at the Roswell-Wieuca Shopping Center at 4630 Wieuca Road NE. The cafe features the brand’s signature pops of color, with pops of pink, yellow and blue outside and inside, as well as a pistachio green espresso machine. The store includes indoor and outdoor seating.

“Luckily the owners let us go a little further with this one,” PERC Retail Director Foreman Amber said And now Atlanta. “We really leaned into it and had a lot of fun.”

The vibrant design of the exterior facade is inspired by what they call “lava lamp design” – a retro aesthetic that continues once you step inside.

“The back wall and the interior space, we call it the corrugated wall,” Foreman said. “It’s this curved wall that mimics the design of this lava lamp. We looked into that… It brings that bright, fun vibe from outside.

The neighborhood found itself on PERC Coffee’s radar when CEO Alan Fischer was cycling in the area. Things began to turn around to transform a space in the mall into a colorful coffee outpost.

Foreman said the location is ideal because of its proximity to residential properties, as well as popular outdoor spaces.

“Being a short distance from Chastain Park is a killer for us,” Foreman said. “It’s so beautiful there. There are so many people who want to take advantage of it. That’s what got us there.

The menu includes classic and signature coffee drinks, including the Good Times Latte, with house-made lavender and vanilla syrup and a sprinkle of habañero sugar on top. The new location has a full kitchen, so visitors can grab a bite to eat with their drinks, from sweet (like donuts, pastries, a bowl of granola) to savory (like the popular Breakfast Crunchwrap).

The opening of the new location comes amid some changes and additions to the menu. PERC Coffee has officially added matcha to its lineup, so fans of the green drink can rejoice. New seasonal drinks include the Root Scoot and Boogie – a floating root beer latte that can be enjoyed hot or iced – and a summer favorite, a cherry limeade with espresso. PERC also put a twist on the classic mocha by topping it with graham crackers and vegan marshmallows for a new drink called Happy Camper.

For the month of June, visitors can order the Pride Drink, a cereal latte in strawberry and Trix flavors. Two dollars from each sale of this drink will be used to Youth lost and foundan Atlanta-based nonprofit organization that aims to end homelessness among LGBTQ youth.

PERC Coffee began roasting in Savannah in 2010 before expanding to Atlanta. There are now locations in Savannah, East Lake, Virginia-Highland, Grant Park and Tucker.

“We source the most colorful coffees in the world and roast them with love,” said the founder of PERC Coffee. Philippe Brun. “We want our spaces to be bright, welcoming and, above all, fun.”

PERC has experienced a period of rapid growth: Grant Park, Tucker and now Chastain have all opened in the last eight months.

And now Atlanta reported in December that Chastain’s new location was in the works.

The store is open every day from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
