Atlanta man arrested in Rome after hitting woman, takes drugs to jail

Rayquan Montrell Nunn, 26 of Atlanta, was arrested in Rome after reports he punched a 37-year-old Rome woman in the face during an altercation at a home on Frost Drive.

According to reports, the victim suffered visible injuries during the attack.

Deputies added that after arriving at the jail, Nunn was found in possession of marijuana after crossing the guard line.

Nunn is charged with battery, possession of marijuana and crossing the guard line with drugs.
