Buffalo actually has amazing summer weather

Buffalo is often described as a city with horrible weather. It’s true, in winter our climate is rather bad. Nasty snowstorms form due to the proximity of the lake. We are being let down.

But in summer, it’s a whole different story. Although the lake can create problems for us in winter, it brings us great benefits in summer. We often get temperatures in the mid to upper 70s. The breeze coming off the lake is cool and we often have very little humidity. It’s hot, but not too hot. It’s perfect for dining outside.

The sunsets in Buffalo are second to none

It’s not just the temperature that draws people to the lake in summer.

In Buffalo, we are also treated to some of the best sunsets. There’s nothing like enjoying someone’s company on a restaurant patio with cold drinks as the sun slowly sneaks behind the lake backdrop. If you find the right restaurant, there’s nothing between you and that sunset except the reflections on Lake Erie.

Although Buffalo is known for its terrible weather and the Buffalo Bills and Sabres, we are also known for our incredible food. The food is creative and delicious. Nobody does it like we do it in Buffalo
