Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen was on the cover of EA’s Madden NFL game last year. He even brought some members of the Bills mob for the cover photo shoot. Fortunately, Allen did not succumb to the Madden curse, playing the entire season without a major drop in his stats.

With this year’s release scheduled for June 11, it’s the perfect time to revisit the conversation. Here’s the latest list, and many of these people have had incredible success over the seasons with their faces on the cover.

2022: Tom Brady and Patrick Mahomes
2023: John Madden
2024: Josh Allen

This year, the leading cover candidate is 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey. Others talked about the Kelce brothers, Travis and Jason, or other players like the Dolphins Tua Tagovailoa, Jaylen Waddle and Tyreek Hill together.
