Dan Russell joins the 2 On Your Side team

BUFFALO, NY – Dan Russell is the new meteorologist to join 2 On Your Side and Storm Team 2.

A native of Western New York, Dan has experience covering our region, from severe weather to daily forecasts on Spectrum News 1, where he was a morning meteorologist.

Jeremy Settle, Director of WGRZ News, said, “Dan’s experience and expertise are a great fit for our Storm Team 2 brand. His decades of forecasting for our region combined with his high energy make him the perfect person to the 2 On Your Side team.

A Buffalo native, Dan graduated from SUNY Brockport with a double major in meteorology and broadcast communications and received the seal of approval from the American Mogenic Society.
