Thirteen companies showcased their FreightTech innovations in two sets of rapid-fire demo sessions Tuesday at FreightWaves’ Future of Supply Chain event in Atlanta.

The demos from Tai Software and MyCarrier TMS were named the best by participants among competing companies’ seven-minute demonstrations of how their technological innovations benefit the freight industry.

Tai Software

Tai Software demonstrated how its software automates quote requests and shipping requests using a centralized platform that leverages AI for load coverage procurement. The platform aggregates data and allows freight brokers to access all the information they need on a single screen to prepare and email a quote to meet their clients’ freight needs.

“Tai Software is revolutionizing the way freight brokers do their work with high-level automation and intuitive workflows that enable cross-functional collaboration across operational teams,” said Jeff Jacobs, solutions consultant for Tai, a FreightTech company founded in 2005 in Huntington. Beach, California.

My TMS Carrier

MyCarrier TMS removes the need for a middleman by providing shippers with direct access to less-than-truckload carriers. Its technology allows shippers to quote, book and track freight using its integrated, automated shipping platform from order to invoice, the company says on its website. MyCarrier TMS also allows shippers to track their freight expenses, shipping and billing processes with its automation technology.

Headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona, MyCarrier TMS was co-founded by Michael Bookout and Chris Scheid in 2017.

“Whether you’re using a system we’ve integrated or using your own system, we make it easy to integrate and configure into our system so you can manage your LTL from quote to cash,” said Travis Rhyan, Director products at MyCarrier.
