Return of the NFTA Parks Adventure Bus

Hop aboard the NFTA Parks Adventure Bus every Saturday this summer to explore WNY’s parks and beaches

BUFFALO, NY — The Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority (NFTA) announced the return of the Parks Adventure Bus, which offers free rides every Saturday to WNY parks and beaches.

“For anyone looking for a free, quick and convenient ride to experience our Erie County parks this summer, I recommend taking the NFTA’s Parks Adventure Bus,” said Mark C. Poloncarz, Erie County Executive. Erie, in a released statement. “We have 10,000 acres to explore and the NFTA is making access easier than ever, so don’t miss your chance to get out with family and friends to find your next adventure in our Erie County parks!”

It’s the perfect opportunity to go swimming, have a family picnic, and explore the greenery that WNY has to offer!

Service will begin June 8 and every Saturday through August 3, with a possible make-up day on Saturday, August 17 departing from the Downtown Buffalo Bus Station (181 Ellicott Street).

“Our parks should be accessible to all members of our community, and intentional steps like the one the NFTA is taking with the Park Adventure Bus service to ensure accessibility exist,” said Legislative Speaker April NM Baskin. of Erie County.
