Syracuse law firm partners with Buffalo-based firm – Central New York Business Journal

SYRACUSE, NY — CCBLaw — a Syracuse law firm known for its work with clients in the health care, business and labor and employment industries — has partnered with Buffalo-based Lippes Mathias LLP .

Eleven lawyers (two of whom are expected to be admitted on June 17), as well as eight staff members, have joined Lippes Mathias as part of the move, according to the June 3 announcement. CCBLaw operates at 507 Plum St. in Syracuse.

Thanks to this combination, Lippes Mathias now has 195 lawyers in total, 158 employees and 15 offices across the country.

“As we execute on our growth vision, we continue to emphasize the right cultural synergies, and the tie-up with CCBLaw is no exception,” said Kevin Cross, managing partner and president of Lippes Mathias, in the ‘announcement. “Lippes’ new attorneys bring exceptional experience and capabilities that pair perfectly with our healthcare team, creating one of the largest healthcare practices outside of New York City. I am proud to see that this expansion also marks a significant milestone in Lippes Mathias’ growth story, as our national presence of 15 locations now reaches all major New York markets.

CCBLaw provides legal and consulting services to healthcare clients including medical group practices, physicians in private practice, dentists and allied health professionals, hospitals, ACOs, physician organizations, associations independent practice, ambulatory surgery centers and other facilities across the United States. according to the announcement from Lippes Mathias.
