Celebrating One Year of Construction on Buffalo Bills Stadium

Celebrating One Year of Construction on Buffalo Bills Stadium

Wednesday marks the one-year anniversary of the groundbreaking on the Buffalo Bills’ next home in Orchard Park.

The $1.4 billion stadium is being built directly across the street from Highmark Stadium.

It is expected to include longer parking spaces to accommodate tents, heated terrain and asymmetrical rooflines to protect against icy winds.

It’s been a year since the Buffalo Bills broke ground on their new home in Orchard Park. (Archive photo)

Sixty-four percent of the seats are covered by a canopy and the seats farthest from the field are now 54 feet closer to the sideline.

The Bills’ new stadium is expected to be completed in time for the 2026 season.
