AT&T says the carrier-to-carrier call disruption issue was resolved after reports of outages across the country were shared and corroborated by outage tracking tools.

The DownDetector website reported that there were more than 3,100 active reports of outages as of 4:09 p.m. The problems seemed mostly limited to mobile users, as 91% of complaints concerned problems with cell phone networks.

The company later announced that the issue had been resolved.

The issue comes just two weeks after many Apple users experienced nationwide outages and delays with iMessage and FaceTime functionality on their devices.
