The Houston-born rapper sold out large venues and impressed audiences with her well-organized show, stage costumes and choreography. But Atlanta fans were devastated to learn that her shows in the city would be canceled, and it’s not the self-proclaimed hottie’s fault.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that the show was one of several Atlanta events canceled due to major water service repairs in downtown Atlanta following a water main break. water. Meg was scheduled to take the stage at State Farm Arena. In a statement, representatives told fans: “The Megan Thee Stallion concert on Saturday, June 1st is currently scheduled,” the venue said in a statement posted to social media. “State Farm Arena and Live Nation are in communication with the City of Atlanta and Department of Watershed Management offices. We will keep fans informed of any performance updates this weekend. We encourage patrons to check State Farm Arena social media pages for the most up-to-date information.”

In the live video, she noted that her team was looking for other venues in metro Atlanta where she might be able to perform.
