Megan Thee Stallion forced to postpone Atlanta concerts due to burst water pipe

Megan Thee Stallion was forced to postpone two concerts in Atlanta due to a water main outage.

Rapper Savage was scheduled to perform Friday and Saturday in the Georgia state capital, but the incident, which triggered a state of emergency, resulted in the concerts being postponed to Sunday and Monday.

In a statement released before the second concert was canceled on Saturday, State Farm Arena bosses said: “After speaking with the Mayor’s Office regarding the ongoing water leak issues affecting downtown Atlanta, the city of Atlanta is unable to accommodate Megan Thee. Stallion performance scheduled for this evening.”

Megan was unhappy with the late cancellation, saying in a video message filmed from inside the arena: “Y’all were acting like I could play, and now you’re like, ‘Oh, by the way, when we were trying to fix the pipes, found another problem, and now more shit is happening.

Pipes burst Friday morning at the intersection of three major water mains near downtown Atlanta. Repairs were completed Saturday evening, according to authorities. Residents suffered a water cut for two days while much of the city was ordered to boil water before drinking it.

Another water main then burst in the downtown area. Officials have worked to isolate this pipe from the larger water system.
