Cyclone of Memories: an AstroWorld exhibit at the Houston Toy Museum

The Houston Toy Museum welcomes Cyclone of memories: an AstroWorld exhibition for one weekend only.

This collection of memorabilia, memorabilia, and rare artifacts spanning the park’s lifespan has been carefully curated by Donald Hayes, a Houstonian and self-proclaimed pop culture historian.

Many objects and photographs found in the collection have never been seen by the general public.

Cyclone of memories is a celebration of the creativity and imagination that made AstroWorld a cultural touchstone for generations of Houstonians and visitors from around the world, from its opening in 1967 to its demise in 2005 and beyond .
