Person shot at northwest home near West 30th Street; IMPD investigates – Indianapolis News | Indiana Weather | Indiana Traffic

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A person was found shot to death in a northwest Indianapolis home Saturday morning, police said.

The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said officers were called to a home in the 3000 block of Skylar Lane around 7:15 a.m. for a report that someone had been shot.

This is a residential area off West 30th Street and North White River Parkway East Drive.

When they arrived, they found a person with a gunshot wound in a house. The person was pronounced dead at the scene.

The IMPD did not provide any information on possible suspects and did not reveal the name or age of the victim.

A News 8 team is on its way to the scene of the accident.
