Griffin intentionally shot a female victim with a rifle inside his apartment building in the 100 block of Pennsylvania Street around 8:44 a.m., officials said.

The victim ran into his apartment and closed the door after being shot. Officials say Griffin then intentionally fired several shots into the door in an attempt to gain entry. He left after being unable to enter the apartment. Griffin was not known to the victim.
