Buffalo man pleads guilty in fatal shooting on Bailey Avenue

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Buffalo man pleaded guilty Monday to a fatal shooting that left one victim dead on Bailey Avenue in April 2023, according to the Erie County District Attorney’s Office.

Ryan Crawford, 23, pleaded guilty to one count of first-degree manslaughter.


On April 2, he shot the victim, Duryll Anderson, 38, with an illegal handgun. Anderson was transported by ambulance to ECMC and later died from his injuries.

Crawford faces a maximum sentence of 25 years in prison when he is sentenced July 1, officials said.

He currently remains held without bail.
