At least 1 dead and 26 injured in shooting in Akron early Sunday

At least one person was killed and 26 others injured in a mass shooting shortly after midnight Sunday at the corner of Kelly and 8th Avenue in Akron.

According to a press release from Akron Police, a 27-year-old man was killed in the incident.

According to News 5 Cleveland, the Akron Beacon Journal’s news partner, no suspects were in custody as of early Sunday morning.
