Houston Symphony Performs The Music of Pink Floyd at the Pavilion

You’ve heard rock symphonies before – but never this beautiful! On June 26, the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion celebrated the 50th anniversary of The Dark Side of the Moon with the Houston Symphony’s electrifying performance of The Music of Pink Floyd. The audience was able to discover the psychedelic sounds of Pink Floyd mixed with sumptuous orchestral arrangements, with classics such as Money, Learn to fly And Comfortably Numb.

All seating is complimentary for the 2024 Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion arts events and tickets are not required. Families are encouraged to enrich their performing arts experience with Mini Pavilion Maestros, a free and exciting program that makes the arts both fun and accessible for children of all ages. Families can register their children for one of the Pavilion’s arts events this season at a special booth located on the North Plaza or online at www.woodlandscenter.org/mini-maestros.
