Man charged in downtown Albuquerque attacks arrested in Missouri

ALBUQUERQUE, NM (KRQE) – The United States Marshal’s Service says a man accused of an attack in downtown Albuquerque has been taken into custody in Missouri. According to Albuquerque police, 43-year-old Brian Eisenbeis harassed and assaulted a female runner near Silver and 12th streets last month.

Man charged in downtown Albuquerque shooting faces new charges in a separate case

Police say he also attacked two men in their 80s as they went to a thrift store near Central and 14th. According to APD, Eisenbeis used homophobic slurs toward the men, who identify as both gay and bisexual, before attacking them. U.S. Marshals say Eisenbeis is being held at a local prison in St. Louis pending extradition to New Mexico.
