Ocean City Departments Respond to Jet Ski Incident

OCEAN CITY, Maryland – On Saturday evening, the Ocean City Fire Department along with the Ocean City Police Department responded to a jet ski accident in the water near the Route 90 bridge in Ocean City.

At 7 p.m., several emergency services were alerted after reports of a jet ski accident. The victim in the water, an adult female, reportedly suffered cardiac arrest.

She was pulled to shore, where passersby began CPR. Ocean City paramedics then performed additional life-saving measures. The victim was transported to Tidal Health-Penninsula Regional.

A police officer was injured in the incident and was also taken to hospital for treatment.

The incident is currently being investigated by the Maryland Department of Natural Resources Police.
