Florence Singer obituary – Buffalo Grove, IL

Florence Singer, 90, beloved wife and best friend of the late Joseph for over 69 wonderful years; beloved mother of Debera Bernstein and Susan Singer; beloved grandmother of Jonathan (Karen) Bernstein, Ari (Sara) Bernstein, Ben (Vivian) Knight and Tori Kleinbort; adored great-grandmother of Daniel, Gabriel, Florence and Théodore and Sam; aunt and special friend. Florence was a wonderful artist and taught for 40 years at the Art Institute of Chicago, Lake Forest College, the Evanston Art Center, and the Suburban Fine Arts Center. She was a creative inspiration to all of her students and will be greatly missed. Chapel service today Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights.
