Police continue search for suspected rapist in Labasa

Labasa police are currently searching for a man who allegedly sexually abused his 12-year-old niece on Thursday morning and then fled the scene.

According to police, the suspect was living with the victim’s family at the time of the incident.

According to police, the suspect entered the room she shared with her sister and committed the attack, then fled when the victim informed her parents.

The incident has been reported to Labasa Police Station where officers are actively pursuing the suspect while investigations are ongoing.
