Man shot and charged with assault after fight with neighbor in Atlanta

A man was shot and charged after a fight involving a neighbor.

Atlanta police said Monday that officers were called to Summit Creek Drive about a person shot.

They arrived on scene and found a man in his 40s who had been shot.

Police said he was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police said he had been involved in a confrontation with a neighbor before the shooting.

The shooter remained on scene and cooperated with investigators.
