According to authorities, traffic was slowed on the southbound Highway 17 bypass in response to a medical incident

HORRY COUNTY, SC (WBTW) – Southbound traffic was slowed on the Highway 17 bypass Tuesday afternoon due to a medical incident near South Strand Drive and Coventry Road, according to Horry County Fire Rescue.

According to a South Carolina Department of Transportation traffic camera, several fire and police vehicles were responding to the area just after 2 p.m.
