2024 Training Camp Day 14 Recap

What’s the latest Chicago Bears news?

The Bears continued their training camp with their 14th practice on Wednesday, another padded practice that coach Matt Eberflus called a “tough day.” The offense had a tough performance against a defense that dominated the day. Some notable players also left Wednesday’s practice with apparent injuries, including right tackle Darnell Wright, defensive tackle Andrew Billings and cornerback Terrell Smith.

Bears 2024 Training Camp: Key takeaways from Day 14

Chicago was back in full gear for its sixth open practice of training camp, which will take place during game week against the Buffalo Bills on Saturday. Coach Matt Eberflus called it a “tough day,” and that certainly upped the intensity. The defense put on a dominant display while the offense struggled, but there were some standouts, including receiver Rome Odunze, running back D’Andre Swift and even receiver/running back Velus Jones Jr.

“Hard Knocks: Chicago Bears Training Camp” Episode 1 Recap

The Bears are gearing up for the upcoming season with a number of notable players and stories, including the development of No. 1 overall pick Caleb Williams. Bears RG Nate Davis misses another practice

Right guard Nate Davis, who signed a three-year deal last season, struggled with his availability both as a rookie and last season. He’s struggled with injuries, and unfortunately, that continued into training camp. Davis missed last week of practice with a groin injury. And while it appeared Davis was healthy Tuesday, he was again sidelined to kick off Wednesday’s practice, according to multiple media members in attendance.
