When do the Buffalo Bills start their preseason schedule?

When do the Buffalo Bills start their preseason schedule?

We can officially say that we will be watching American football next month. Sure, it’s only preseason, but it’s still an important step in preparing for the first week of the season. However, we first have to go through training camp where teams start reporting in late July. The Buffalo Bills return to Fisher University in St. John’s where they will report on July 24 for their first practice. They will have ten practices, as well as the “Return of the Blue and Red” practice at Highmark Stadium on August 2.

Once August rolls around, we’ll start focusing on the upcoming season, which will begin with the preseason. The Bills will play at home twice in their three preseason games.

Last season, Buffalo played twice on the road, going 1-1, and finished the 2023 season with a 2-1 overall record. They opened the preseason against the Indianapolis Colts, where we saw Matt Barkley play like an All-Star and created a real backup quarterback competition with Kyle Allen. Then the Bills went on the road against the Steelers, where Pittsburgh showed up to play while the Bills seemed to still be thinking about their win over the Colts the week before.

The Bills finished the preseason in Chicago where, in a home-and-away game, they managed to get the victory and that helped solidify the final 53-man roster.

On Saturday, August 10, the Bills will open their preseason by hosting Caleb Williams and the Chicago Bears in Buffalo. It will be interesting to see if and how long the Bears will play Williams, who has the best situation a starting quarterback could ask for.

Buffalo will then return to Pittsburgh for the second straight year on Aug. 17, before concluding its preseason schedule at Orchard Park where it will face the Carolina Panthers.

We’re almost there, Bills Mafia. Before you know it, we’ll be watching the Bills run down the field and see what this new team can bring.
