Atlanta Braves news: NL East clash, Giants win series in Atlanta, more

After a series loss at Truist Park, the Atlanta Braves prepare to host the division rival Philadelphia Phillies for a three-game series that begins tonight at 7:20 p.m. ET. The Braves enter the series with a 47-38 record. The Phillies, however, enter the game with a 57-30 record and a nine-game lead in the East.

Max Fried, Spencer Schwellenbach and Reynaldo Lopez are all expected to start against Aaron Nola, Ranger Suarez and Michael Mercado.

This series will end the long home series before the Braves head West to finish the first half.
