Two minors raped at the weekend – Crime

Police reported two cases of rape of minors over the weekend.

Deputy police spokeswoman Kauna Shikwambi confirmed the alleged rape of a 9-year-old girl in Outjo on Thursday.

It is alleged that the girl was raped in a neighbor’s house.

“The victim’s mother (48) alerted the police,” says Shikwambi.

The suspect has been arrested and police investigations are ongoing.

In another incident, a girl (13) was allegedly raped by a man (26) in Tutaleni in Walvis Bay.
