2 injured in southwest Atlanta shooting

ATLANTA – Two people were injured Thursday afternoon in a shooting in southwest Atlanta.

Police were called shortly after 3 p.m. to a shopping center located at the corner of Campbellton Road and Dodson Drive.

According to the Atlanta Police Department, officers found a man with a gunshot wound and another person with cuts from flying glass.

Both victims spoke to medics as they were evaluated at the scene.

Their names have not been released.

Police are investigating the motive for the shooting.
