Stefon Diggs, now with the Houston Texans, opened up about his relationship with his former Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen.

Despite the trade that sent him to HoustonDiggs emphasized that his bond with Allen remains strong and meaningful.

Diggs: Josh is still my man

“It has been a complex element of my career,” Diggs said of Allen.

“When I left Minnesota, I was a good player. But I always felt more about myself. I felt like I was better than that – that I could be better than that. And up until that point, I was just like ‘S-. I’m going to roll the dice and bet on myself.'”

Reflecting on his time in Buffalo, dig recognized the important role Allen played in his career.

“When I got to Buffalo, Josh was and still is my guy. People don’t really understand what it’s like to be there. He really embraced me. He kind of had that hospitality of the South. We spent a lot of time together and I probably wouldn’t be here without him. I have a lot of love for this boy, so give him a hug and a kiss for me.

The trade of Buffalo has Houston came after a season filled with speculation about Diggs’ the future with Invoices.

Tensions were visible during the Invoices’ playoff loss to the Cincinnati Bengals, where dig And Allen There was a heated exchange on the sidelines.

Rookie quarterback CJ Stroud also praised dig for his leadership and teamwork.

“He has integrated very well. He arrived with his head down and he just works,”Stroud said.

“He helps me a lot. … He came in and was a leader, and I’m proud of him. He was really selfless and wanted to see the other guys eat. That was his main goal – he wanted to be with other dogs. He took on this role where there’s a dog everywhere. He wanted it and that’s what we bring to the table.
