KILLER QUEEN – A TRIBUTE TO THE QUEEN COMING THIS FALL

The University at Buffalo Center for the Arts (CFA) is certainly on a roll. After recently announcing Ben Folds as part of their Fall 2024 lineup (with tickets already selling out quickly), they’ve just released news of a concert that’s going to make many Queen fans VERY happy. To quote the late Freddie Mercury, this show “will rock you.”

Killer Queen – A Tribute to the Queenwith Patrick Myers as Freddie Mercury, takes the stage with his thrilling, adventurous and electrifying performance on Saturday, September 28 at 8 p.m. Tickets for this show have just gone on sale and are available at ubcfa.org, Ticketmaster or in person at the UBCFA box office.

This is Killer Queen’s first U.S. tour since their first tribute concert in 1993 at the University of London, following in the footsteps of the band who played their first concert there decades earlier. Their expert musical talent, extraordinary energy and precise portrayal of the world’s greatest live band have rightly earned them the title of Queen tribute royalty. Exciting sold-out audiences around the world, Killer Queen recreates the powerful and energetic phenomenon that was Queen live. With CFA’s perfect acoustics, this evening of incredible Queen hits will be a real treat for fans of all ages.

Singer Patrick Myers said: “It’s been an incredible journey. This first show changed my life. We thought our band would last maybe a summer at most, but it’s very addictive to perform these songs. The shows grew and grew and we ended up playing and selling out the same arenas that Queen played in their heyday. It was quite a surreal adventure.
