Kroger to open senior clinics in metro Atlanta

The clinics will provide seniors with longer visits to health care providers to effectively meet their needs.

ATLANTA — Kroger Health, part of The Kroger Co., is offering new health care services for seniors at eight Little Clinic locations in the Atlanta area. These clinics, located inside Kroger stores, will make it easier for seniors to get the care they need.

The clinics will offer seniors longer visits with health care providers to address their specific needs, according to a release.

Services will include annual checkups, preventative care, chronic disease management and the creation of personalized care plans. Seniors can also access other Kroger Health services, such as nutritional counseling and medication evaluations.

James Kirby, chief commercial officer of Kroger Health, emphasized the importance of convenient, specialized care for seniors.

“We are committed to providing our seniors with the personalized care they deserve,” he said. “We are excited to bring this senior-focused care to the Atlanta area, especially in places that do not have sufficient medical services.”

With this new service, Kroger Health and Better Health Group aim to significantly improve the health and well-being of seniors in the Atlanta area by providing them with needed care.

Clinic locations have not been announced.
