UP man rapes 3-year-old Nepali girl in Siddipet, arrested – Telangana Today

A 30-year-old painter from Uttar Pradesh was arrested on suspicion of raping a three-year-old child from Nepal in the Mythrivanam area of ​​Siddipet city.

The victim lived with her grandparents at a construction site where they worked as security guards. According to police, the accused Ajay, a native of Gorakhpur district of Uttar Pradesh, was working as a painter at the same construction site. Ajay befriended the elderly couple and took the girl to his room on August 19 and raped her. The child managed to raise an alarm and the grandparents rushed to the scene. On seeing them, Ajay fled from the scene. The grandparents then called the Three Town police who took the girl to Siddipet Government Hospital.

Ajay was nabbed at Ponnal Bridge on Tuesday night while he was trying to catch a vehicle to his native place. Inspector Vidyasagar said Ajay has been produced in court and remanded in judicial custody. Superintendent of Police Dr B Anuradha said they would file a chargesheet soon after receiving engineering and forensic lab reports. The accused will be tried in a fast track court, she said.
