Buffalo police raid reveals suspected guns, fentanyl and methamphetamine

A raid Tuesday on Northland Avenue resulted in the recovery of three handguns, nearly $15,000 in cash, suspected narcotics and the arrest of a 24-year-old man, Buffalo police said in a news release.

Jarrett Gauer, a city resident, faces a series of charges, including two counts of first-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a Class A-1 felony, police said.

City, county and federal agencies executed a search warrant in the 900 block of Northland.

Police said the suspected narcotics they recovered included approximately 7½ pounds of fentanyl pills, approximately one pound of methamphetamine pills and approximately two grams each of powder cocaine and fentanyl.

One of the handguns was a ghost gun.
