Whitney Houston achieves milestone in the United States for the first time

The American public is still in love with Whitney Houston. The singer died more than ten years ago, but since then her popularity has hardly diminished. Most often, she finds her place on the playlists. Billboard charts – at least one – as people continue to buy and stream the hits that made her one of the most successful singers of all time.

This week, Houston takes a special step forward on the Billboard graphics. Even several years after her death, she is still reaching new heights and achieving impressive feats, which is just like the star.

This week, I will Always Love You drops slightly on the Billboard 200. The compilation slides from No. 168 to No. 175, although such moves are not uncommon among titles that have spent years on the list, and it will likely bounce back soon.

I will Always Love You moved just under 9,000 equivalent units during the last tracking frame in the United States. According to Luminate, the stock lost just over 1% in total consumption, which is also common. The project managed to sell over 700 copies in the same time frame, which is a notable amount.

Although he only climbed to 14th place, I will Always Love You is ranked as Houston’s longest-charting album on the Billboard 200. Only two other albums from the Grammy winner have managed to stay at least 100 spins. Whitney Houston– the album – has so far spent 176 periods on the chart, while The bodyguard collected 156 relays somewhere on the chart.

As it slides backward on the Billboard 200, I will Always Love You is also down very slightly on the only other Billboard chart it appears on this week. The set jumps from No. 22 to No. 24 on the current edition of the Top R&B Albums chart. Its performance on that list is more impressive than on the Billboard 200, as it peaked at No. 8 and spent 262 weeks on the chart.
