Last August, Burger King launched a line of BK Royal Crispy Chicken Wraps, which the chain hoped would become the go-to choice for anyone craving McDonald’s long-discontinued Snack Wrap. When BK’s wraps launched, they came in classic, spicy, and honey mustard flavors, and the chain just announced a fourth member of his Royal Crispy family.

On Thursday, March 7, Burger King will launch its Fiery Buffalo Royal Crispy Wrap, which takes a buffalo-glazed chicken breast fillet and rolls it into a soft tortilla with creamy buffalo sauce, tomato slices and lettuce. The same day, Burger King launches its new Fiery Buffalo Nuggets, so if you love hot chicken, you’ll want to circle next Thursday on your calendar. Both Fiery Buffalo siblings will only be available for a limited time and are both priced at $2.99 each.

“Since their initial launch on menus nationwide last year, our Royal Crispy Wraps have quickly become the most popular limited-time offering on Burger King menus in the U.S. over the past four years” , Pat O’Toole, Burger’s chief marketing officer. King North America, said in a statement. “Although they are launching as a (limited time) offer, wraps are here to stay.”

Burger King turned up the heat everywhere this week. Following Wendy’s announcement that it may introduce dynamic pricing next year – a pricing system that could see the cost of menu items increase or decrease based on demand or time of day – BK fought back with free food and a promise to, uh, not do that. . (After several days of complaints and bad press, Wendy’s has since reconsidered this idea, writing on its website that it would “not raise prices when our customers visit us most,” but that it might offer reductions “especially in quieter periods of the economy.”

As Wendy’s tried to move out of the dynamic corner it had retreated into, Burger King was offering free sandwiches. “The only thing that’s breaking at BK is (fire),” the channel wrote on X, the former platform known as Twitter. “We don’t believe in charging people more when they’re hungry.”

From Wednesday February 28 to Friday March 1 — Today! — BK customers can get a free Whopper or Impossible Whopper with any purchase of $3 or more through the BK app or by pre-ordering through BK.com. (To claim the free sandwich, you will either need to be an existing Royal Perks member or sign up for the program.)
