Buffalo Police Investigate Officer-Involved Crash on Bailey Avenue

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A crash involving an officer occurred with a patrol vehicle and a pickup truck early Sunday morning, Buffalo police officials said.

Authorities said the crash happened at 3:45 a.m. at the intersection of Bailey and Erskine avenues.

Authorities are investigating whether the driver of the van suffered from a medical condition.

The civilian driver and patrol officer were transported to ECMC for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
