Gibson County officials receive lifesaving awards for their actions in personal injury accident

Two Gibson County Sheriff’s deputies recently received lifesaving awards for their actions during a personal injury accident on May 24 of this year.

Deputies Quinten Might and Michael Owens were dispatched to the area of ​​US 41 and Interstate 64, where two vehicles had collided and one was on fire.

Might and Owens hooked up a defibrillator and began CPR on a person found outside the vehicle who was unconscious and not breathing.

Eventually the patient regained consciousness at the scene of the accident.
