Buffalo Bills sign safety Dee Delaney

The Buffalo Bills have signed safety Dee Delaney, adding another piece to their revamped secondary.

In a corresponding move, the team announced that wide receiver Dee Delaney had been released:

Delaney, 29, spent the last three seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Delaney entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent in 2018 out of the University of Miami, signing with the Jacksonville Jaguars. Before finding a home in Tampa, Delaney also made stops with the Miami Dolphins (2018), New York Jets (2019) and Washington Commanders (2019).

The 5-foot-11 defensive back played in 49 games and made five starts during his time with the Bucs. He had 71 tackles and three interceptions in those contests.
