Fans Get Excited Over Gwen Stefani Photo in ‘Cryptic But Exciting’ Update

Fans break down in tears as they try to decode the meaning behind Gwen Stefani “Cryptic but exciting” social media post.

The “Hollaback Girl” singer recently celebrated the 20th anniversary of her hit album Love. Angel. Music. Baby. with a series of throwback photos as she alerted fans that a special limited edition vinyl would be released in November.

Fans now believe the No Doubt singer has another announcement to make after she posted another throwback photo to Instagram on Friday, September 6.

The Voice Coach’s four-part Instagram carousel began with what appeared to be a photo of Stefani, now 54, smiling while pressing a pink flower to her nose as a young girl. The undated photo was followed by a more recent snap of Stefani wearing headphones and staring intently ahead at something out of sight. In the third photo, Stefani held a mug that appeared to have the word “blossom” printed on one side. She ended the carousel with a video of a field of pink flowers in bloom.

Stefani kept the floral theme for her caption, which used a single emoji: “💐.” She then added a comment to the post that fueled fan speculation, writing, “Hmmmmmm?”

“Oohhh I feel something coming! 💐,” wrote one fan.

“I’M SO EXCITED,” another fan said while one Instagram user called the post “Cryptic but EXCITING! 😍.”

Several fans of the “Cool” singer began to guess what the message could mean, with some hoping for a No Doubt reunion tour while others suggested a new album could be on the way.

“Still waiting for the reunion tour to be announced!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻,” one fan commented while another begged the band to tour in 2025.

“When is the album coming out 😍,” one Instagram user wanted to know.

“@gwenstefani oh my god we thrive on change (album) 🪻,” one fan guessed. Their comment included lyrics from “Purple Irises,” the song Stefani and her husband, Blake Sheltondated earlier this year.

“I hope you have new music that blooms soon!!❤️❤️🌻🌻,” wrote another fan who picked up on the flower theme.
